If you are bothered by a solicitor, please advise them to leave the community. There are “No Trespassing, No Soliciting and No Loitering” signs clearly posted at each of our gate entrances. If they don’t leave, please call the Palm Bay Police Department’s non-emergency line to file a “Trespass” complaint. Their non-emergency phone number is (321) 952-3456.
Florida Statute 810.08: Defines trespassing as entering or remaining in a structure or conveyance without authorization, invitation, or a license. In addition, staying on the property without the expressed or implied permission of the owner is also trespassing.
What is the no soliciting law in Florida: According to Florida law, individuals who engage in door-to-door solicitation activities that sell, lease or rent consumer goods or services with a purchase price more than $25 are required to have a home solicitation permit issued by the Brevard County Clerk of the Court.
